Farewelling Miss Clements

Today we had a farewell circle to say goodbye to Miss Clements. We are
learning to stand up in front of a large group and to acknowledge and
thank the hard work that somebody does. We are becoming much more
confident at speaking publicly and some of the sentiments expressed
bought tears!! Best wishes on your future teaching and learning
journey Miss Clements. You have been amazing.

Making lighthouses

Today we made our lighthouses. It was a challenge but we all managed
to make our lightbulbs go. We had to make a circuit and connect all
the parts - batteries, wire, lightbulb. We used lots of different
tools. The trickiest part was winding our wire around the lightbulb
holder screws.
